Welcome to Iguana Beachwear Gifts & Home Decor.
Established in April '98, initally selling my own designed & made childrens clothing (Iguana Beachwear) at local markets in and around Brisbane Qld, the range soon grew to include imported ladies clothing, shoes and jewellery from Indonesia and sold through party-plan.
After moving to Mission Beach in Far North Queeensland in 1999 the children's range grew, due to demand for cool comfortable clothing in such a humid climate, and the imported goods soon expanded also. Selling through markets from Tully to Port Douglas.
Another move (south this time) to Iluka New South Wales and Iguana Beachwear was soon selling at the local markets from Grafton to Lennox Heads.
The opportunity to open a shop here in town basically fell into our laps in early 2005 and we thought 'why not'?
So what started as a small range of affordable, comfortable, cool childrens wear has now expanded to what you see today at 33a Charles Street Iluka NSW.
Today the stock is personally selected every few months from Indonesia & Malaysia with the Iguana Beachwear clothing range still designed & made by me (though now in the shop rather than in a corner of the lounge room).
And now we've expanded!!!
With the closure of Iluka Nursery, I have expanded the shop into the greenhouse directly out side the back door.
There is a small but interesting range of statues, ornaments & garden decor AND a separate section where we have Psychic Readings (see left for more details, under Mind Body & Soul).
